Arya Samaj Mandir Annapurna Indore is the only Mandir controlled by Akhil Bharat Arya Samaj Trust in Indore. We do not have any other branch or Centre in Indore. जिस प्रकार कपडे पर नया रंग चढ़ाने के लिए, पहले उसकी गंदगी को धोना और फिर उस पर नया रंग चढ़ाना संभव हो पाता है - उसी प्रकार, मानवीय व्यक्तित्व पर दैवी अनुग्रह का रंग चढाने से पहले व्यक्तित्व की धुलाई और रँगाई जरूरी हो जाती है। यहाँ धुलाई की तुलना प्रायश्चित से व रँगाई की तुलना साधना से कर सकते हैं। हमारे चित पर, अवचेतन पर, पूर्वजन्मों के किए गए कुकर्मों, कुसंस्कारों के मैल की परत चढ़ जाती है। इस मलिनता को दूर करने के लिए, प्रायश्चित विधान का स्वरूप हमारे शास्त्रों में निर्धारित किया गया है।

Just as in order to impart a new color to a cloth, it is possible to first wash off its dirt and then to paint it again - in the same way, washing and dyeing of the personality is necessary before the color of divine grace can be applied to the human personality. Here washing can be compared with atonement and dyeing with sadhana. On our mind, on our subconscious, a layer of scum of the misdeeds, malpractices done in the past lives. To remove this filth, the form of atonement has been prescribed in our scriptures.
